The sun is setting. In the final few hours of light, there's a stillness. A warm, summer-like feeling that brings about a spot of nostalgia. My little cousins are splashing around in the Mill creek, here near Salem, Oregon.
As I watch them play, I'm starting to kind of wonder where my youth went. I mean, one moment I was doing the same thing. Now, I'm worried about how to achieve something in this life. These kids, these precious little innocent beings already achieved something in life. They're enjoying what they've achieved. To be able to skip a rock more than twice. To jump off of a rope swing into the deep part of the creek.
God, I want that back.

My older, Washingtonian cousin is driving down to pick me up. We'll pack up, and hug and kiss the cousins here before we depart to Battle Ground. I can't wait to meet everyone I haven't seen for a year. We've been planning this trip to the Oregon Coast last year, about the same time. Oh how sweet and warm they all are! Or maybe it's just because I don't know them very well..
Maybe behind closed doors they're all sadistic maniacs.
....................haha Nah, they're pretty freaking sweet.

We're gonna see some really beautiful stuff you guys. Really beautiful stuff. And pretty soon, there will be videos for you to watch.

Cheers y'all.
